DoD to Present Safety Strategies with Concurrent Forum

While attending the NSC 2008 Congress & Expo, attendees will have the opportunity to attend an ancillary event hosted at the Hilton Anaheim. That's the site for the 4th Annual DoD Safety and Health Forum.

The forum promises to deliver safety and health strategies and trends across the Department of Defense as well as go beyond the normal news headlines and sound bites from Iraq and share the real success stories from the Army, Air National Guard, and Navy.

Attendees will receive details regarding the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program recognition for safety and health excellence and learn about the top 10 injury issues facing today's soldiers as well as the prevention efforts directed at reducing them.

Disaster preparedness will also be discussed, as those in attendance will get the scoop on the Incident Command System, the nationally mandated standard for managing everything from disasters to major national drills.

There is no cost to attend the forum. To register, go to www.dodforums.org/SH2008-CA/index.htm.
