AIHA Seeks 2009 AIHce Presentation Proposals
The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) recently sent out a call for presentations at its 2009 American Industrial Hygiene Conference & Expo (AIHce) in Toronto, May 30-June 4. The deadline for submissions is Oct. 6, 2008.
Benefits of presenting include:
- Increased credibility and visibility with fellow professionals
- Contribute to the profession and conference
- Gain approval to attend AIHce 2009
- Earn points toward certifications
- Create opportunities for dialogue and discussion
Presenters may choose from three presentation formats and more than 30 abstract topics ranging from aerosols to toxicology, and everything in between.
Each year, in addition to the expo, AIHce offers educational opportunities, and 2009 will be no different as it will feature more than 70 Professional Development Courses and more than 100 technical sessions that will focus on current OEHS issues. PDCs provide information on new standards, regulations, and innovations in technology; traditional occupational and safety issues; new chemical and biological threats; and upcoming career challenges.
