Cardiac Science Wins Two Big Corporate Orders
Cardiac Science Corp. recently announced two large orders from corporate customers for its Powerheart automated external defibrillators and related services. Together, the contracts represent hundreds of locations worldwide.
The two customers are CH2M HILL, an engineering and construction company, and Cummins Engine, which manufactures diesel engines and power generation products. Cardiac Science signed an exclusive five-year deal to supply all of CH2M HILL's locations in the United States and also an exclusive deal to supply all of Cummins Engine’s 222 worldwide locations.

"There is a real need for accessible defibrillation in the workplace. According to the Occupational Safety & Health Administration, 15 percent of all workplace fatalities are sudden cardiac arrests. . . .
