Shermco Releases March Electrical Safety Class Schedule
Shermco Industries of Dallas announced its March 2008 schedule of training classes yesterday. The company provides rotating apparatus and electrical power system testing, commissioning, repair, maintenance, and training; the March classes include preparation for code exams, discussions on electrical safety, OSHA requirements, and hands-on participation to enhance maintenance skills.
The offerings are Understanding NFPA 70E, March 10, a two-day course for $600 per person that is taught by James R. White, the NETA Alternate Representative on the NFPA 70E Committee; a one-day Arc Flash Seminar on March 19 for $300 per person; Basic Electrical Technical Skills, March 25-28, a four-day, $990 per person class for new electrical workers; National Electric Code 2005 and 2008, March 12-14, a three-day, $900 per person training program to prepare for Code exams; Programmable Logic Controllers, March 3-6, $990 per person; Fundamentals of Variable Frequency (AC) Drivers, March 17-18, $600 per person; and Electric Print Reading, March 25-27, $900 per person; and Electrical Safety for Managers, March 31, a one-day course ($300 per person).
