Added Attractions Make Motivation Show a Must-See
High-powered keynote speeches, today’s IMA Circle of Excellence luncheon, workshops, learning tracks, and a bustling expo with 15,000 colleagues networking like mad are reasons enough to attend The Motivation Show this week at McCormick Place. But two of the added attractions shouldn’t be overlooked.
Recognition Professionals International (formerly the National Association for Employee Recognition, www.recognition.org) will hold its Excellence in Recognition Fall Summit beginning at 8 a.m. today, starting with a networking breakfast and continuing with the 2007 Recognition Overall Best Practice award presentation to MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, best practice roundtables, speaker, wrapup, and the IMA All-Industry Reception. The program’s cost is $150 for RPI members, $350 for non-member practitioners, and $450 for non-member resource providers; the price includes lunch and admission to the exhibit hall.
Also, the Promotional Products Association International (www.ppa.org) offers its PPAI Promotional Consultant Academy and Learning Lab concurrent with The Motivation Show. The academy is for promotional consultants who want to boost their skills and abilities in designing and selling integrated programs to clients and for distributors or re-sellers who want to elevate their consulting skills and business results. The cost for this debut academy is $99 for PPAI members and $600 for non-members, which includes an “Idea Source” CD featuring 1,800 award-winning programs and campaigns.
