Kimberly-Clark Donates Supplies for Minnesota Flood Cleanup Efforts

Kimberly-Clark Professional of Roswell, Ga., announced today it is donating thousands of health and hygiene products to residents and businesses in Winona, Minn., to help them clean up from the extensive damage caused by the recent flooding.

"We know that Winona was hit particularly hard by this storm and that Fastenal, one of our distributor-partners, is headquartered there," said Drew Barfoot, vice president of Kimberly-Clark Professional, North America. "We wanted to do what we could to assist our valued partner, the business community, and the area as a whole as it recovers from the severe flooding that took place."

Among the items being delivered to the Winona Area Chamber of Commerce are 10,000 general-purpose disposable wipers that absorb liquids, lubricants, and oils; 1,200 liquid and particle protection coveralls; 700 pairs of neoprene/latex chemical resistant gloves; 1,400 pairs of safety glasses; and 500 chemical spray protection aprons.
