ASSE Now Accepts CFPS Credential
ASSE announced it will be accepting the Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) credential for members and new member applicants who have a bachelor’s degree and five years of safety, health, and environmental experience for Professional Membership in the society.
In addition, ASSE Professional Members can be or have a Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration, Certified Safety Physicist (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Health Professional (CHP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA), Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CFIOSH), or Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH).
