Scaffolding, Shoring, and Forming Institute Offers Free Online Safety Tools

The Scaffolding, Shoring, and Forming Institute, a trade association whose members manufacture those products, is offering several free online resources to help users keep their work sites safe. The materials are available at www.ssfi.org.

They include a Scaffold Code of Safe Practice in English and in Spanish, safety rules and recommended erection procedures for various types of shoring products, and safe practices codes for use with suspended powered scaffolding -- also available in English and Spanish.
