In this webinar, we will discuss how a Workflow Assessment can improve and optimize your current processes and optimize your teams daily workload., including how to properly transition from paper to an EHR.
Every business should have their processes documented and then reviewed periodically to ensure efficiencies and processes are captured appropriately. To most, this periodic review is a minimal task as changes to the documentation is mostly limited or non-existent. Day-to-day tasks become mechanical as we function in the same rhythm, vibe, and flow on autopilot mode. Should it be this way? By evaluating your workflows and enacting changes that positively affect employees, optimization becomes the standard. Large scale projects such as moving from paper to an electronic medical record will optimize efficiency, reduce errors, increase security, along with many other benefits; however, the transition can have negative impacts if an assessment is not completed prior to, during and then after the implementation. Software upgrades, federal and local mandates, and corporate initiatives demand that our processes change periodically. These changes will impact how we work. Where an internal assessment can be difficult at times, an external view of processes can assist with optimization and improvements in workflows.

Eddie has 21 years’ experience in the healthcare industry overseeing operations of medical facilities that provided Employee Health, Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care and Worksite services. During those years in the industry, Eddie wore many hats including Director of Medical Staff, Director of OccMed and Marketing, HIPAA Compliance Officer, and Director of Operations for multiple locations across the US.
Eddie also served on the Advisory Board at Nashville College in Nashville, Tennessee.
