This webinar will familiarize attendees with the significant proposed changes coming in the 2012 edition of NFPA 70E: Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace, which will be issued by the NFPA® Standards Council in August 2011
Our presenter, Jerry Rivera, is director of safety for the National Electrical Contractors Association and an alternate member of the NFPA Electrical Safety in the Workplace Committee that oversees this important consensus standard.
He will discuss proposed changes to the Hazard/Risk Category tables, the addition of direct current Approach Boundary and Task tables, revised requirements for labeling electrical equipment, and the addition of Annex P, which explains how to implement an electrical safety program aligned with occupational and health management safety standards.
