Al Roth, ASP Director – Environmental Health and Safety, Newport Corporation – Irvine, CA

Mr. Roth is the Director of Environmental Health and Safety for Newport Corporation in Irvine, CA. Mr. Roth has over 20 years experience in the OHS/EHS field within various businesses, including manufacturing, engineering, retail, transportation and construction.

His extensive background includes the development and management of proactive accident prevention systems. He has coordinated the development of Business Continuation plans for the Newport Corporation as well as for The Toro Company, where he worked previously.

Jean Erdtmann, Senior Director, Preparedness and Health and Safety Services, American Red Cross.

For the past 16 years, Jean has worked in diverse positions throughout the American Red Cross. During her time at the Red Cross, she has held both frontline and leadership employee and volunteer roles at chapters, military stations, and national headquarters.

Today, Jean leads the Program Development and Sales Support team of accomplished and energetic staff who develop new programs and support customers through national account coordination, online learning, sales opportunities and other program initiatives. She is an active Disaster Services Human Resources member and led a six county Katrina operation near New Orleans.
