OSHA Panel to Hold Monthly Meetings on Temporary Workers

The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health's Temporary Workers Work Group will work to develop recommendations for best practices.

OSHA has scheduled monthly meetings of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health’s Temporary Workers Work Group in Washington, D.C., according to its announcement.

The meetings are scheduled for Aug. 24, Sept. 21, Oct. 16, and Nov. 20.

These meetings will promote the discussion of workplace safety and health issues regarding temporary workers and develop recommendations for NACOSH to evaluate. Included is the move to develop recommended best practice language for protecting temporary workers as part of employers' injury and illness prevention programs.
