Super Cleaners of San Antonio Cited by OSHA

OSHA says the company failed to provide proof of correcting prior violations.

An inspection of Zareena Investments Inc., also known as Super Cleaners, revealed repeat violations for failing to establish a hazard communication program; provide eyewash stations for workers who handle corrosive chemicals; provide workers with personal protective equipment; guard electrical panels; and provide adequate insulation on hot steam pipes, OSHA announced.

According to the OSHA news release, the San Antonio company also did not make sure workers were protected from recognized electrical hazards.

"When hazards are identified, they need to be corrected," said Alejandro Porter, OSHA's area director in San Antonio. "It is the employer's responsibility to find and fix the hazards that can injure or cost a worker his or her life."
