ASSE, COSHA and ISHA Sign Global Health and Safety Memorandum

The organizations sign a memorandum of understanding to promote global workplace safety efforts

The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the China Occupational Safety and Health Association (COSHA) and the Industrial Safety and Health Association (ISHA) have signed memorandums of understandings aimed at promoting global safety and health efforts, according to a press release from ASSE.

According to the press release, the memorandums of understanding “will explore opportunities to collaborate, exchange technical information and conduct joint educational programs with the largest occupational health and safety organizations in China and Taiwan.” ISHA , a division of R.O.C. in Taiwan, plans to partner to enhance workplace safety in various regions.

The partnership aims not only to improve workplace safety, but to ensure there is a better understanding of the needs for safety in emerging markets.
