Safety Council of Illinois Founded

MRA, a nonprofit employers association, announced the opening of this division on June 6.

A new organization named the Safety Council of Illinois has been created by MRA, a nonprofit employers association. The new MRA division has its headquarters in Palatine, Ill., with a second location in Moline, and it is hosting the 2012 Illinois Safety Conference on June 19-20 at its Palatine headquarters (625 North Court, Suite 300, Palatine IL 60067).

The new division's director is Nancy Warren, an MRA regional vice president. "Our members describe Nancy as keenly observant, highly innovative, and an excellent communicator," said Susan Fronk, MRA's president and CEO.

MRA's announcement says existing members automatically receive complimentary membership to the Safety Council of Illinois.
