Dallas Seavey Wins 2012 Iditarod
The youngest winner ever at age 25 is sponsored by J.J. Keller Extreme Transportation Solutions.
The top story in Wednesday's Anchorage Daily News and also at J.J. Keller & Associates Inc. President/CEO Jim Keller's blog is the 2012 Iditarod victory by 24-year-old Dallas Seavey, whom J.J. Keller Extreme Transportation Solutions sponsors.
Seavey, the youngest winner in the history of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, arrived in Nome at 7:29 p.m. March 13, local time, winning the race by an hour.
It took him and his dogs 9 days, 4 hours, 29 minutes, and 26 seconds to complete the 975-mile race, which was the 40th annual Iditarod, according to the newspaper's report.
Seavey's father, Mitch, and his grandfather, Dan, also competed in the race.
