Expo Floor: Glen Raven to Showcase FR Fabric

Technical fabrics maker, Glen Raven, is showcasing its GlenGuard®FR fabrics for industrial protective apparel at Safety 2009 in booth #1843.

"The audience at Safety Expo 2009 is as committed to industrial workplace safety as we are," said Hal Bates, marketing director for Glen Raven Technical Fabrics. "We know these safety professionals will appreciate the many benefits GlenGuard®FR flame- and arc flash-resistant fabrics offer to the industrial protective apparel market."

Studies show that when safety apparel is comfortable, workers are more likely to wear it as specified thus reducing their risk of injury. GlenGuard®FR fabrics have been engineered to be lighter weight and more flexible so that protective apparel is more comfortable. Plus, the fabrics exceed the strictest industrial safety standards (NFPA 70E) for thermal and body burn protection.

GlenGuard®FR is made with Kermel® aramid and modacrylic fibers that are inherently flame- and arc flash-resistant. Its protective benefits are permanent and won't wear off or wash out. The fabrics are color-fast and abrasion-resistant so garments stay looking good longer. Visit booth #1843 for more information.
